What is an OBSIDIAN MIRROR?
Well, as you can see in the photograph, it is a completely polished obsidian that reflects, as if it were a MIRROR, everything that is in front of it. This device was used in all types of rituals; In the AZTEC culture and as time went by, it is also said that astronomers like JOHN DEE or even NOSTRADAMUS himself used it for their predictions. To give you an idea, one of these mirrors (specifically John Dee's) is now on display at the British Museum in London.
Very close and linked to Mexican culture, the representations of TEZCATLIPOCA were painted with a special type of dyes with metallic reflections. He used to be represented with a black stripe on his face and an obsidian mirror on his chest, where he saw all the actions and thoughts of humanity.

How to use the OBSIDIAN MIRROR?
As I always tell you here, you should play everything to your personal INTUITION and the ability that each of you has to connect with this mineral. There are no tricks or secrets. It is said that simply by looking in the mirror you can see the past, the present or the future and I warn you that this may not necessarily be a pleasant experience.
It brings to light both the good and the bad that we carry inside and is especially suitable for people with an excessive EGO. It reflects and transmutes these weaknesses and illusions into something positive and balanced for the person who works on it.
There are also therapists who use it for states of DEPRESSION and/or ANGUST, in this case you have to "soften" the stone, always accompanying it with white, pink or green quartz so that its energy vibrates on a more loving and harmonious scale.
